i think what akkilk means to say is that the adrenals are not the source of the stress. the adrenals will merely react to the source.

it makes no sense to fish downstream and treat the adrenals if you have the capability to go right to the source of the problem. some people can get lucky and normalize with adrenal treatment, but it still doesn't mean it is a great idea. sort of like the current economic situation; you can only put off disaster for so long with 'stimulus' or training people to be happy with less and less.

in some cases it may be too complex to actually pinpoint the problem, so palliative treatment of the adrenals would be recommended. but starting off in every case assuming that the adrenals are the root cause is just very simplistic thinking.

not to mention that the proof is in the pudding and akkilk has started to feel better by addressing the gut/diet, so i guess that means s/he? was right.

for the life of me i am still wondering why yet another person would come into this forum and start quibbling with someone who is actually getting results. is akkilk's success some sort of threat to people with a different health philosophy?

the correct response is 'congratulations, keep up what you are doing since it obviously works for you'.
