It's not good for AF... Nothing extreme is. AF needs lots of fat in the diet to heal. Good fats like animal fats heal the digestive lining and is used to make hormones. I tried the schulze thing and almost wound up in the emergency room.
I suggest GAPS, or Body Ecology. I am doing the GAPS version, but am going to include buckwheat in my diet after I start probiotics. Since foccusing on diet and gut healing, I am sleeping much better.
