Re: middle eastern, greeks, meditereaneans prove liver flush

More ignorance of some very basic facts! The liver stores and releases glycogen

Yep, you are right about ignorance.  But the ignorance is yours being that the only thing you got right was that the liver stores and releases glycogen.  Let me explain this in a way that even you should be able to understand.

So the liver is a storage for glycogen, which we agree on.  So let's say the liver is like the gasoline tank of an automobile as it is also a storage, and the gasoline can be released from it.  So does the gasoline tank of the automobile release the gasoline all by itself to run the car? Of course not.  The gasoline has to be pumped from the gasoline tank, which requires the electricity to run the pump.  So just like the liver, which is merely a storage unit, but requires external factors to release that glycogen.  What are those external factors?  Hormones from the adrenal glands that trigger the breakdown of glycogen and the release of the glucose.  This is why a person can a perfectly healthy and functioning liver and they can still develop hypoglycemia.  Research how the body really works before posting claims and you will look a lot less foolish.
