Re: Meat-lovers may pack on the pounds

RyanD,
I am not really promoting or endorsing anything except Vitamin D3 supplementation, Water-only-fasting, and Natural Hygiene, for the purposes of better health and the prevention of disease.

The study made on meat consumption was conducted by Dr. Anne-Claire Vergnaud of Imperial College London in the UK and her colleagues, and where I was merely the messenger of that study.
It may have been wrong and/or faulty but "financially motivated" is misleading and erroneous. I would also ask: to what end?

Did I ever mention that I do not have an agenda?
I don't think so; well, not in so many words anyway.

If I do have an agenda at all it is aimed purely against the meat industry as it is practiced today: I suggest you read "Diet for a new America" By John Robbins and you will understand my viewpoint, and that of many many others................
http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=PnO7_2F12p0C&pg=PA151&lpg=PA151&dq=The+mea...

I will also admit that I do tend to attract some controversy and debate, but only in response to the subject of Vitamin D3 supplementation and sometimes water-only-fasting, where I have the bulk of Science in support of the former, and the testimonials of hundreds upon thousands in the latter.

Further, you will not need to convince me of your meat-eating agenda, as that is your prerogative and democratic choice. This is also true for anyone else who chooses to adopt a Fruitarian or Herbivorous or Omnivorous existence. I also do not attempt to offer "Diktats" of any kind, but only present the information for anyone to arrive at an independent conclusion and opinion.

However, much is touted here on curezone concerning the benefits of "grass-fed-beef" and/or other naturally reared flesh that is reared for human consumption as being more healthful; but I actually wonder how much of this is consumed in preference over flesh that is raised artificially and forcefully by current practices that are widely considered to be inhumane, cruel, and unhealthful.

It is also true to say that I am approx' 98% vegan, but this way of eating does not provide any "prejudicial blinkers" concerning the diet of others.

Regards

Chrisb1.
