Re: My post-fast plan... feedback please!
Hello lilacsophia,
if you are still concerned about your body-fat/water ratios post-fast then I would personally recommend the PACE exercise program after the refeeding period is over.
PACE is actually any aerobic exercise that is transformed into an anaerobic activity: this burns fat even well after the exercise session is finished.
For example: 5 minutes of very light gentle jogging, interspersed with 30 seconds or so of a "fast-sprint" and repeat. In the words of a Harvard Study and Dr Al Sears MD this will "bullet-proof your heart and lungs" unlike any other exercise, whilst simultaneously burning more fat (much more fat) than would otherwise be the case.
It also gives your heart and lungs extra reserve capacity achieved with no other exercise program.
I use PACE with rebounding.........amazing stuff I can tell you.
PACE is the best fat burners I've ever seen and works just as well for the novice exerciser as it does for the more fit. It is even recommended for those with congestive heart failure...although they of course need to start very slowly.
According to Dr. Sears, the big mistake with aerobic exercise and jogging is fat utilization. Once you pass the 15 to 20 minute mark, you start burning fat during exercise.
But this tells your body you need fat to burn as fuel during exercise. As a result, your body will make and store MORE fat to prepare for your next run or aerobic workout -- a never-ending cycle making it impossible to get rid of that stubborn fat that never seems to go away.

PACE exercise weight loss routines are never more than 10 to 20 minutes.
That means your body burns carbs during exercise, not fat. After you finish the routine, your body starts burning fat to replace the carbs it just burned.
In fact, your body will burn fat for up to 24 hours after your PACE routine. It even burns fat while you are sleeping! After a few weeks, your body gets the message that it doesn't need to store excess body fat at all.
