Re: My post-fast plan... feedback please!
"Psychologically you want whole fruits, but physiologically, unless your are different from the majority of people, your body is most likely not ready. If you are in a hurry to get your strength back, which is natural and understandable, perhaps it seems counter-intuitive, but the best way to accomplish this is to take it very slow, enjoying only juices in the first several days."
I agree with these principles. And Shelton, of course. :-)
And further, you will know *directly* much more as your body experiences it, (that is to say, once you actually break the fast)than you can ever know now, through simply hearing or reading. The body speaks, and it has its own wisdom -- but as Sun has pointed out, our eyes are TRULY often larger-than-life, upon breaking a longish fast. So, it takes a great power of focus not to rush things.
Mono meals and even mono-days might be wisest, depending of course on your personal ability to digest. Banana is probably too binding. And you might find that a simple broth might suit you better than fruit.
Orange, sucked on, and juiced is a standard, but some people find it too much.
