Yes, this happened to a good friend of mine. His wife coached a 2 and 3 year old girls to implicated their father.

He remained in jail for 2 years before trial came up. In the trial the woman admitted to coaching her girls.

The wife was not prosecuted for making false accusations.

When my friend was released, he had no job, no home, and the lawyers and courts took all of his money.

You may as well be guilty.
