Re: Any men falsely accused of rape / sexual abuse?

I am married but in the process of divorce. A couple of days ago she went to the police and accused me of sexual assault / rape. I have been sleeping in the same bed with her in our home in Denver. She had been sick with a cold and also suffers from fibromyalgia. I am a licensed massage therapist and she was up coughing all night. I asked her if there was anything I could do to make her feel better. She told me she loves it when I rub her neck and back. So I heated up some massage lotion and massaged her neck, back, feet, gluteus and legs to help her sleep. This particular evening because of how ill she felt she had taken not only her regular medications of sumatriptan & Topamax (plus Prozac) but also oxycodone (for cough), Ativan (for anxiety), copious amounts of Nyquil and even smoked some marijuana. In the morning she wakes up and sees the massage lotion next to the bed and can not recall anything of the night before. She asked me what happened and I told her I gave her long massage to help her sleep and stated that while massaging her I could tell she had lost a lot of weight. Now this woman has a history of sexual abuse and something about that night freaked her out and she went to the authorities and told them I assaulted her. I was thrown out of my home and now facing charges. I am also a doctor and this could destroy my career. I am so devastated that my own wife, someone I love and deeply trust, would do this. I am on the road driving to New Orleans to stay a while with my friend. I have thought about checking out of this insane world to. She has turned our mutual friends against me and they are treating me like a rapist. I am doing all I can to just hang on to make it to my Louisiana. I am so disgusted by this accusation. Tweet
