All the assuptions, and accusations, in this thread, illustrate the need of human beings to feel they are 'right' or correct, in their particular beliefs. (I'm am by no means exempting myself here, I've done this too).
Instead of examining the information, the person sharing the information is attacked. While this is going on, no-one is learning anything. Its just a microcosim of what happens in the wider world.
Buddha says "Its not our preferences that are the problem, it is our attachment to them".
This is something that I totally agree with, when we can detach ourselves from the information, (not take someones disagreement, or information, personally), we are then free to examine it, and perhaps learn something.
