I don't eat much red meat. Maybe a mince dish once a week. I tend to eat fish, twice a week, chicken twice a weeks and turkey twice a week, in small quantities.

Some red meat 2 to 3 times a week would help. You can also have a Bloody Mary with your steak to help. Seriously a little alcohol does help with iron absorption. So does vitamin C. Tannins from coffee and tea and calcium will block iron absorption.
