 If i do a test, and discover it is low, do you agree with the types of iron they recommend, or is there a better way, this is for hv as well. They say it can take some months to build up.

I prefer plant based irons. They are not as readily absorbed as heme iron, but they are easier on the system. Nettle leaf contains iron and vitamin C, and yellow dock is pretty high in iron. It will take time to build up, especially with the plant irons. If you eat meats then red meat with some vitamin C will work much faster.
