A: minus (-) to ground (negative end on battery)

Q: i have tested at the schottkeys and results are as follows,

from top to bottom (the line is facing the right hand side)

1)5.23v
2)3.37v
3)0v <----------- this reading is odd perhaps poor connection with meter probe.
4)3.43v
5)5.36v
6)3.44v

With out doubt there something wrong going on here in the step up circuit. Re check the logical circuit from this link: http://www.geofex.com/circuits/+9_to_33.htm


silver jack plug) 1.2v <-- you have low voltage feeding your CS circuit - so it would be low.

silver lamp) 0v <---- you have to have closed circuit on the jack to get reading across the lamp. The lamp will light when there is enough colloids suspended in distilled water to carry enough current to the lamp (that's when you know you have enough CS).

zapper jack plug) 0V <--- you should see about the same as above. Turn your 100k pot to zero ohm resistance.

A: These are wrong readings on the schottky rectifiers. These are voltages that you should have:

-from pin 8 on 7660 go up to second rectifier - it should read around 17V
-go up to fourth rectifier - it should read around 25V and -go up to last rectifier it should read around 33V

always measure between negative (ground) on battery or negative circuit bus that has direct connection to (-) on battery. The readings for positive side(+) are done on the right side of the rectifier that has gray or white line around the rectifier (after the current passed through rectifier).

When measuring voltages on CS jack, measure on the connecting leads to the jack with both probes. Do the same for the electrodes jack. Make sure the switch is on to get reading for both jacks.

-It would be best to take picture from both sides of your circuit board and post it, so I can take a look at it and trace it logically for connectivity. (don't worry about how it looks, the goal is to make it work). If you have electronically inclined friend or neighbor do not hesitate to ask them as well to trace it (sometimes I am stuck on something that I can only see in my head, when in reality it is wrong way - having a fresh look could point out things that we otherwise ignore - you might want to solicit help of your lady as well).
