Take the steps, NOW

I know how difficult it is, Prettyangel, to make the decision to leave and divorce - it's scary and we're frightened to just take that first step. I'm a Survivor of domestic violence and abuse, and I learned through personal experiences that anybody can be made a victim. You are one of millions of women AND men who are in the same position.

Now, I'm going to post a site that offers a number of agencies and shelters WORLDWIDE that you can contact - please, don't make the foolish mistake of WAITING for someone to do SOMETHING. Take control of this situation to save your Self (Self is that Life's Spark that makes you unique), and to save your beautiful children. Your partner is violent and, if he even has an idea that you intend to leave, he will surely inflict violence upon you and, possibly (likely) upon your children. LET THE PROFESSIONALS and volunteers who have Survived the same thing HELP YOU and your children! Don't wait, Prettyangel. This is not only about you, but your children who do not have a choice as to whom their parents will be or what kind of home they will be born into.
