I have found this to be the case too, after 2 years of taking Omega Joy. What I find most helpful is 500mg of niacin (the kind that makes you flush). I now only seem to need Omega Joy EPA every other day and only one capsule instead of the 2 I used to take.
Niacin is really good for anxiety and multiple thoughts. Calms me right down. I don't flush as long as I take it after a full meal. Taken on an empty stomach will cause flush for sure. I've done this and it actually feels quite nice, like laying in the sun. The surface of the skin gets warm, not your internal temp. Goes away in 20 min. to half hour. Niacin makes you think more clearly and it cures constipation. Aids in the production of stomach acid, so really helps my digestion. Don't take timed release or niacinamide or inositol hexanicotinate. These do not do the same thing. For anxiety/thinking/constipation/alcohol cravings take niacin (nicotinic acid). It just says niacin on the label and in the ingredients. And the label will mention may cause flushing. This is the niacin you want. Some people only need 100mg per meal. I need 500mg after each meal. Been great for calming my agitation and multiple thoughts.
