Re: Blasto and Diet? MY EXPERIENCE

I too have blasto and just answered Rexy on another topic. But wanted to be sure I was in the loop with any info you share. I have tried the triple cocktail Jackie suggests and it failed me - been coresponding with her for over 4 years now - sick with blasto for 9 years. I have also tried many other combos of drugs and herbs. I can post them all if anyone is interested. Research has discovered many strains or subtypes of blasto which I am guessing is why some things work for some people and not for others.

Diet made a huge difference for me and at least being able to function. Although I have created other problems like uric acid crystals. All I eat is chicken for breakfast lunch and dinner. Pretty much everything else sets me off.

I live in the US and would be interested if anyone has actaully consulted with someone who cured it. I know of a doctor in the poconos in Pa and a doctor in chicago and have consulted with both. Both have successfully treated blasto but not in me. In general the doctors are still questioning it ability to cause disease but the researchers have concluded it does.

I just want to share the university of oregons website as they have done amazing research over the last 2 years....and by the way it is not all that uncommon to take drugs test negative and still have symptoms.
