Whatever path you choose I can assure you though Spiritists are not evil and dangerous people. Spirtism teaches fundamental moral laws and guides all people to live according to the model of Christ. It is only considered occult by those who fear the unknown. Read the Spiritist creed and you will see they reject any use of occult talismans and rituals.
