Someone on another forum recently also recommended Spiritists. I found a site belonging to organization nearby which offers a number of free books on the subject. (http://www.sgny.org/main/books.htm)
I will reserch this further. Frankly, I have been hesitant to be considering simultaneously a help from a priest and a spiritist group, considering the stand classical Christianity has Spiritism. Yet, I understand that there may be different interpretation of the divine word. I pray to God for guidance in finding the right and true way out of my predicament.
