Re: the only way...

I have worked in deliverance ministry on and off for quite awhile. Spirits can only bother you if they have a legal right to do so. The legal right stems from violation of God's laws---whether you did something yourself or you were born into generational iniquity. Usually, it's from BOTH.

The only way to get rid of them is to get serious with God and to enter into the New Covenant in the blood of the Lamb--Yahshua the Messiah. All authority under heaven and earth is given unto the Son---and He gives that authority to His covenant ones.

Col.1:15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18And he is the head of the body, the set-apart/called-out ones; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Col. 2: 6-15

6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

7Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

12Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a spectacle of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

If you really want to be clean and be free from these, you are going to have to come to the end of yourself and the path that you have been on. when you're really ready to do business on HIS terms, forsaking all else, and willing to give him your broken life in exchange for His LIFE (ETERNAL), then you can enter into covenant with Him through the sacrifice of His Son. There is no other door, there is no other way.

Dabbling in the occult and New Age is strictly forbidden - and will lead you to more bondage. Let me tell you that these beings do not have good intentions toward you. They can come across as 'intelligent', 'wise', 'witty', 'bedazzling', etc. etc. --but they will turn on you in a heartbeat when the game is up. They will leave you broken, impoverished, friendless, dead, etc. Even if you don't accept this counsel today, and you continue down the path you're on....just remember that the Son of God, Yahshua (is His real, Hebrew name) will be there when you cry out to Him in despair. Never forget that.

The two things that I always do before doing deliverance/exorcism, is to have the person repent/ask for forgiveness for everything that they know to repent for. The other thing is to FORGIVE everyone in the person's life - because unforgiveness can keep you in bondage to the tormentors just as you are refraining from loosing the person from unforgiveness.

These two things demolish the legal rights of the beings who are now trespassers. Now the eviction. There are many layers to deliverance. The best thing is to read the scriptures daily and pray and seek Him.

The ONLY authority you have over these creatures is in the NAME of Yahshua HaMoschiach---Jesus Christ. Period.

Anything else is a temporary and incomplete band-aid.
