Week 18 Results
A successful week!
Date: 5/4/2009 12:19:22 AM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 2078 times I hit two significant landmarks this week; I went over 50 pounds for weight loss and I weighed in under 200 pounds! What a great feeling to know that all the hard work is paying off. I contribute this weeks loss to a couple of things. First, I started a new four-day split routine for my weight training. I felt that I needed to shake things up a bit. I'll stick to this rountine for the next six weeks and then change it up again. Secondly, as I mentioned in last weeks message, I have changed up my diet. What I am currently doing is as follows: Days 1-4, zero carbs other then green beans and asparagus with meals 3-5. Day 5, 25 grams of carbs, which for me is 1/2 cup old fashioned oatmeal (cooked up of course) with my first meal of the day. Days 6-9 again zero carbs other then the green beans and asparagus. Day 10, which happens to be today, 1/2 cup oatmeal with my first two meals, and a 1/2 cup of black beans with meals 3 and 4. Meal 5 will just be a chicken breast with aspargus and meal six everyday is a protein shake before going to bed. I have protein with every meal, pretty much consisting of eggwhite omletes and chicken breasts. I do substitute fish in once in awhile. Okay, so those are the big changes this last week or so. I'm training hard and getting stronger and am actually enjoying the high intensity cardio in the afternoon. All in all, a great week. Here are the week 18 stats.
