Week 11 Results
The breakthrough I've been waiting for.
Date: 3/16/2009 1:23:26 AM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 1995 times After several weeks of declining weight loss, I have finally broken through a plateau of sorts. This week I saw a five-pound weight loss, all of which was fat loss. By basically sticking to the routine, with a few tweaks here and there, my weight loss program continues to pay dividends. Frankly, the last two weeks I have been tempted to seriously cut my calories and the amount of food I was taking in. This just goes back to the many misconceptions about weight loss. I had to keep telling myself to ignore the scale and keep eating my six controlled meals per day, sticking to around 2200 calories. I continue to do strength training 4 days a week to build muscle, thus burning more calories. I believe that this has been the key to this week's breakthrough. I am also doing my cardio six-seven days a week, focusing on interval training. I continue to increase the speed and incline on the treadmill as I become accustomed to the previous settings. All in all, I feel and look great and am incredibly happy with my continuing progress. Below are the stats for week 11. My goal is to get to 190 by the end of May, and then from there, I'll reevaluate my program.
