Week 10 Results

The weight loss is slowing

This week was in some respects quite good and in others not so good.  I gained one pound of muscle mass while dropping 2 pounds of fat mass.  The end result was a one pound weight loss.  I just feel that as hard as I am working it should have been more.  I have decided to up the cardio once again and really keep an eye on my caloric intake.  I don't cheat at all as far as junk food goes, but I think my portion sizes may be adding more calories then I originally thought, especially my protein.  I buy fresh chicken breasts in a three pack and although I don't weigh each one individually, I suspect that they are closer to 6 ounces rather than the four ounces I have been counting towards my daily total.  Over a week that adds up because I'm eating around 24 breasts a week.  I prefer the chicken to fish as it's really hard to get fresh fish where I'm at.  I do eat quite a bit of tuna however.  Anyway, I either need to burn more calories each day through aerobics or take in less calories to try and keep my daily intake to around 2200 calories.  Overall I can't really complain as I have lost 34 pounds in 10 weeks.  Only 29 more to go to meet my goal.  Here are the week 10 stats.
