It's a little over two months since I've been off juicing. In those two months I started eating cooked foods again. I did well by eating more fruits and vegetables and lots of salads but after about a month I realized I was eating unhealthily again. I ate McDonalds and buffets and desserts. I didn't eat too much of it but every day adds up. I probably only gained back about 5-6 lbs (165lbs) and there was one time I almost reached 170lbs again, but I did something about that before I went overboard. Over the past couple of weeks I started eating less cooked foods, more raw foods, and I started juicing again but not in big portions. I lost those 5lbs I gained and went back down to 160. This past weekend I juiced for about five days and went down to 156lbs., my lowest weight that I can remember EVER.
I love the benefits that I get from juicing. I think if I was on another "diet" and I went off it for 2 months like I did here, I would've gained more than just 5-6 lbs. But I did right by myself and I still walked about three miles every day and did my leg pilates and abs and arms. I think those factors helped. I love cutting up fruits and vegetables and shoving them down my juicer and just imagining all the GOOD STUFF that's coming out and soon getting into my body. I love the sensation I get when I drink the juice and I can just FEEL all the nutrients going down my throat and into my blood and my body and just cleaning everything. It's nice.
This morning I juiced 2 small apples, 1 pear, 3/4 cantaloupe, and 2 celery stalks. Delicious :)
