Day 4
A summary of Day 4.

My first juice consisted of:
2 small gala apples
1 asian pear apple
3 small green pears
4 strawberries
2 carrots
1 celery
1/2 - 1 cup spinach
small bunch of red grapes
My second juice consisted of:
2 asian pear apples
4 strawberries
2 carrots
1 celery
1/2 cup spinach
small bunch of red grapes
10:00A: I feel very heavy and groggy today. I can't be sure if it's due to detoxing because last night I wanted to sleep and so I took some Nyquil. I ended up sleeping from around 11pm - 9am. It was nice to get some ZZZ's in but I woke up stuffy and foggy. Also I think I'm either getting R's cold or my body is just trying to find a way to get rid of all this toxins through the form of a cold. And I notice that my right knee is bothering me. I've always had joint problems and they've gone away for a while now. Yesterday I walked up Alder (big hill) and I also did some squats. I'm not sure if I strained my knee ligaments or if my body is trying to repair all the damage I've done over the years to my knee or what. But yesterday it started aching and at night I started noticing that it was really bothering me. Not to the extent that I was in pain or I wanted to take pain medication, but enough to get my attention. And on top of all of this, I started my period, so everything I'm feeling could be due to THAT and not to the effects of juicing. I will have to wait it out.
11:36P: I went out today to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. I was totally tempted to eat! They had bar food: hamburgers, chicken wings, fried zucchinis, shepherd pies, et. I really thought that I was going to nibble on a fried zucchini, just one! But I stayed strong and drank my second juice of the day. I did add some hot sauce into my juice for an extra kick. I know it's not raw or natural but oh well. I think that caused me to get gassy and have a few BMs but nothing to write home about. I did have a midori sour at the bar though. I know, I know but I figured it was better to have that one drink that a small bite of whatever else. At least it's liquid! But it would've been best if I had no alcohol at all. Oh and I should concentrate on drinking more water. I'm thirsty even as I type. I didn't weigh myself today because I felt gross and bloated and yucky. But I did step on the scale tonight after all all the juices and that one drink and I weighed 168.5lbs. I didn't do any walking or stretching or pilates or abs today. I may try to do abs before I sleep. Here's to a better tomorrow! Yay, day four is done!
