Sadhana day 6(again) 20 y
Baby I need a Nap- Come to Bed!
I believe I would have had just a little over a week left, if I hadn’t missed Sadhana due to my daughter’s triathlon! But instead...Jeez...I am on day 6 of another 40 day program...I was unarmed with the rules...But this time around I started soooo muccchhh stronger on this day 6 I am as strong as...sayyyyyyyy...well if I’d done -30 days -Joke’s on Me

How do you make a Sadhana Circle laugh?
So M says ”How long have you been doing Sadhana” ? I say, ”well I missed 2 days- ”Oh” she says ”you have to start over.. that is the rule” I say ”well then, I am on day One”
There is guffawing all around the circle- they get it- they understand the discipline of starting over and over and over- after all they have been on the path for 30 years and are still getting up and doing Sadhana- But they remember also their first 40 day Sadhana and the difficulty- so they laugh at my sentiment and with me but mostly at me...Like I say Lucky I am a good ... read more What the F...? 20 y
There is a Rule in Sadhana Practice -yes, one that says- if you miss a day you start over. I missed 2 while in Pacific Gove, LUCKILY one can't start over twice...So I am starting OVER!
And other self jokes including ”Potty Poetry”- I missed day’s 19 & 20 to attend my daughter’s triathlon...yes I did...and guess what today, day 21 I learned a ”rule” yes...a ”rule” ~if you miss a day you start over again so...today I completed day 1-OH NO! Can you believe it? I am dumbstruck- and this is not a common state for me...Rather uncommon state for me...

She did Good, but overdid it..and finished before we expected!
My daughter finished the triathlon in 3 hours 28 minutes and 44 seconds.
She has been up until 3am with her new boyfriend and slugged down a couple of bottles of wine with him...She was a couple a 20 minutes late to the airport, but within reason..but the condition she was in...that was kinda a different story. Had her work clothes on from the day before and was pretty hung over. We drove to her house and did some work on her campaign and then took off on Highway 1, and a scenic drive into Pacific Grove.

Couple aspects of my life in the NOW.
So I am still doing Sadhana I think day #17 now..but at this point they begin to all blend in. I am feeling strong and a little less tired. I have done a LOT of core work.
I will be missing Sadhana while in Monterey. I bet I’ll wake up at 3am...today I will have less than 4 hours sleep as I have only 2 hours till I leave for Sadhana.
I have developed a love for the Sikhs and their absolute support and hospitality. I am honored as an honored guest when in their home. I love the chanting and the Kriya we’re doing is touch..all core work

San Jose, Monterey, and Carmel!
Off on my way to Sadhana and then to Monterey- well, I do guess the airport will be wedged in-between there.
I am on my way to Monterey-that has a ring to it, do you know the way to Monterey? Actually, I am going to San Jose first to pickup my daughter and then we are both going to Monterey!
I hope that we will have some down time together, but the schedule may not allow it...and of course, she has her best friend from college, Jen, there also. Intention is one thing, action is another. Sure, the thought counts, but isn’t it a lot better to have the thought and the follow-through? There are a lot of ideas out there, but the implementation of the ideas is what makes them valuable. Being reliable means taking action, following through on intentions.
