That premise only works if there is no other way to get answers to questions. Even I am surprised at the questions asked especially when just a few hours or a couple of days ago the same questions were just asked.
Folks do not want to read. Of course I am assuming one can read (if they cannot, then I guess they wouldn't be on this forum) ;-)
I used to be the same way, just figured folks were here at my beck and call ... they have nothing better to do than to wait for newbies to ask the same questions and then one day the bulb came on when the shoe was on the other foot. Folks asking the same questions when the answers would have taken a few minutes of their time to search and read.
There is a FAQ ...
Just take the time to read and try to discern/comprehend what will work best for you and you just may be surprised at what comes up for you.
It is one thing to check in and introduce yourself and share what is happening ... this is not about that ... but folks anxious to get started read a couple of postings , not satisfied because they are not getting immediate gratification and start asking away.
Like I mentioned earlier I've started this cleanse two weeks ago friday and most probably will end it this friday and every question or concern that came to mind was answered on this forum ... AND THEN SOME.
In fact there was so much information that I had to remind myself to not get carried away and take it slowly (as many of the vets on here have stated over and over and over and over again) Zoe and Pepe are a godsend ... I just had to read their posts to get most of the information I needed to get started and the invaluable links that they and others provide ... well all depend on just how far down the rabbit hole you want to go.
What I would suggest is that in the FAQ section if it could be reflect that information is current and still applicable or that it has bee revised as needed, especially if a post is more than a few months old.
I know that the beginner questions will always show up, it is part of the nature of being human ... I want what I want and I want it now!!! But for those who really want to learn, who do not need to be led every step of the way, all you need to know is here ... AND THEN SOME. Being too busy to read ... doesn't cut it. This is about your health, if you don't take the time and responsibility ... then why should folks who have done the hard work be there for you?
Just take the time to read
read
read
read
and then read so more
When you do decide to share or have a question or ready to respond to one ... it will be a worthwhile contribution
