Broccoli when it is cooked is not bothersome to the thyroid, bad for it when not cooked. Funny thing they've been telling us to eat all these veggie raw and here broccoli is so bad raw. I read this out of something printed in the 60's or 70's. They knew about the refined Sugar and flour thing in the 50's. Most of the food in the grocery store is bad for us. No wonder so many people have so many health problems. Radish, kelp, mustard greens are supposed to help I think. Aside from iodine, vitamins A, B, and C are important for proper functioning of the thyroid gland.
