Good ! It sounds as though you're in the know about nutritional traditions. An interesting thing to do when you meet a really old person, is to ask them what they were fed by their mother. I've heard from quite a few of them that broths comprised much of their early diets. I have a theory that what is fed to a person from ages 0-18 determines largely how long they will live, and the answer's I've received seem to be consistent with it. Problem is, one does not have the luxury of asking the dead ones what they were fed as youth.
