Re: What to expect?

Wow. I CAN SO RELATE!

We are pretty much two peas in a pod but details are different. My guy has turned out MUCH better in many regards. But he is still what he is. He IS what he is and so......

Look, this isn't brain surgery (or maybe it should be)....but your man and this woman-in-the-park thing....they are a MATCH. ("She has no job, no drivers license, no money, three kids, she's in and out of jail and is very unattractive.") They deserve each other.

But he NEEDS you like a parasite needs a host. They "suck the life out of you" to quote another site on NPDs (Narcissistic Personality Disorder)

"DIS-orders" the hell out of your life, too, doesn't it?

And only someone like us can understand your particular dilemma. Been there. The injuries left by my batterer (and of COURSE, he denies it. Duh.)....left me unable to work. Not in any affective manner whatsoever. Couldn't move from my R side for 4 days and 4 nights. Into the abyss. But I digress. The scripture you are grappling with is in Corinthians and it is the one that caused me to remarry my batterer. However, I didn't think I was going to live because of other stuff piled on top of my chronic injuries/meds/meds' side-effects so I didn't really care. I thought I would die (he now makes fun of me about THAT...."oh, always DYING!" These guys are vicious. )

Anyway, the verse goes, "A woman is not to leave her husband but if and she does, then she is to either remain unmarried or return to the husband she left." Quote/unquote.

Here's what I would do in your condition and since I did remarry mine: I would leave him. Not divorce. Just physically get as far away from the %¤#&!§-as possible. Live your life. Pray for him. Don't date other men. LIVE! Rescue your CHILDREN, not the %¤#&!§-. Leave the %¤#&!§-with Miss %¤#&!§-. They deserve each other.

Sorry to be so blunt but that's just me. I never say anything to anyone that I haven't already kindly and gently said to MY ***hole's face either. I have been straight-up about saying, "If I won the lottery today, I would be gone by midnight tonight!" But I digress.

BE SAFE. :O)
