Re: Focusing while in stillness

Stillness has been beneficial. I discovered I hold lots of my pain in my abdominal area. It became clear to me that this affected my breathing without even my awareness. So, I began to sit quietly with the focus on my breathing and began to experience a "letting go" in my abdomin. Along with the "letting go", the pain became emotionally unsettling. I knew this was something I had to do to heal "old" pain. I repeat--this was painful and I knew that I had to commit to letting the pain come up. It's hard but working. I have a lot to say about this process but for now I will only add that I am using it to bring more warmth to my hands and feet to cure my raynauds. Not perfect (yet), but definitely is helping. Thanks for listening. emotionally
