Re: Damaged lymph system
"Any chance that your gain was fat turned into muscle?"
I have lost weight since quiting my pharmaceutical drugs and perusing a natural diet and detox path; 50+
pounds to date in 21 months. While I do believe that I have added muscle, I still have at least 20+
pounds to lose without question.
"How do you look? Are you generally pleased with your appearance?"
I am very muscular looking in arms legs, chest and across the back, in some places even "cut". I am very pleased with my appearance due to the weight loss and additional muscle.
"Do you need a trainer, or did you have one...to give you the shape you need for your activities?"
No, I have worked out all of my life and have had so much physical rehab in my life, recovering from surgeries (years) that I could train the trainers :-)
"That 'lots of sweat' thingy used to happen to the ex, whenever he was heavy. He definitely did NOT choose 'health food'...loved white bread."
I did not mean for this to sound unnatural, our temps can go over 100+ degrees where I live for 3 - 4 straight months. I intended it to mean why do I need the sauna? LOL. I still sweat every day with the exercise even though temps have dropped.
"Do you know, in my head, the only reason I can think for 'damage' to the lymph system, would be adhesions...maybe scar tissue. I simply do NOT know anything about the subject."
Yes, I agree to a point. My back is problematic on both sides of a major back surgery (cut open like a chicken I was...)
"Surely, any 'packed' toxins would have, by now, moved on, since your extra activity and better eating patterns."
One would think so, but I question the lymphatic systems ability to repair damage to flow around scar tissue and major clogs in a short period of time... maybe years.
"You aren't 'thinking' "damaged - not moving" are you? As you know, the body follows your commands."
Every morning when I exercise I say to myself things like the toxins are flowing out of my body, my body is strong and clean, flexible and lean etc. etc. especially when I am on the rebounder.
"Any stresses? Can you negotiate for relief?"
No real stresses other than life :-)
"Shared massage schedules, for example...'You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours."
Yep, that is the plan :-)
"Any regular self-massage should help."
Skin brushing every day...
"And, I think yes, do get this out where many people can see it...especially fellows who may have had a similar experience."
I may post on Ask Curezone later tonight.
"Write something very to-the-point as a title...'Weight GAIN with working out and diet?'"
This WAS true when it happened, not now. Do you still think that is a viable suggestion or do you have another?
Thanks for your input, it helps.
