Damaged lymph system
Note: cross posted to the Obesity Support Forum and Weight Loss Forum as I felt it may be appropriate... I may post on ask curezone if there are not many responses.
I would like to know if any one has considered this as a problem with some people having extreme difficulty losing weight?
I ran into a book a few weeks ago on pH balancing, I do not remember the title... not new as pH balancing has been around at least since sometime in the middle 1800's from what I can gather. However, on the back of this book was a sentence (I did not buy the book, I know what it says) that said in essence, is a damaged lymphatic system keeping you fat?
I have always exercised as best I can and have eaten better, even when I was not on the detox bandwagon, than anyone around me, yet gained weight. About 40
pounds when I was on two different pharmaceutical drugs within three months... the doctor said it was not the drugs; yeah right. After almost 2 years (21 months to be exact) of radically changing my diet and cleansing I still, easily have, over 20
pounds (maybe more, I think I have distorted body image due to my muscular build\frame) to lose and it seems to be weight between the skin and internal organs\muscle in my trunk, and I am not too sure it is fat, more likely lymph fluid that is having a difficult time cleansing out of my system.
That said, very recently, it does appear to be slowly moving on and out... but the books statement AND my difficulty with losing this weight got me to thinking... I know surgery (I have had 7 major and several minor surgeries) can and does disrupt the normal flow of lymph and dose interfere with proper draining and cleansing, I now suspect that pharmaceutical drugs can also damage the lymph system.
Any thoughts on this? I currently skin brush, rebound, exercise, take cold showers and use detox baths. What else can be done to open up lymph flow? What can be done or ingested to strengthen the spleen?
I am extremely healthy compared to 21 months ago and feel as good as I have since my early 30's and I do not care if I lose another pound or not, though it would be nice and I do feel proper lymph flow is a worthy goal to help achieve optimum health.
thanks all,
