Re: Mirena IUD side effects and law suit

I just found this forum today, DEC. 15, 2006.

I have been on CZ.com for a little over a week. I found myself here, at CZ, because I decided that I wanted try the MC...because I am having serious physical issues (for all of 2006). And have had just about enough of shrugged shoulders from my doctors, and being shoved pills--to see if this will work. So I thought I would fore go convention and try old fashioned homeopathy. Bought the "Master Cleanser" by Stanley Burroughs, and shortly after, discovered Curezone....

With all of my symptoms, I have gone through MANY many tests. CT scan, MRI's (2 of my brain & 1 of my spine), Colonoscopy, Ultrasounds, 24 hour Holter Monitor for my heart, EEG, EKG, biopsy of my Uterus, oh, and so MANY blood labs! All in about a 6 month period.

I am 33. I have a lovely 3 year old daughter.

None of this time I have spent with my crew of various doctors has given me a satisfied resolution. I have Primary Insomnia (for over a year), a Microadenoma (hormone producing tumor) on my Pituitary gland (that's in your brain), and Fibromyalgia Syndrome. And I would assume that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome would be logical at this point. =)

NOW, I had the MIUD inserted in Oct, of 2003- 6 weeks after my daughter was born. I nursed her for 13 months. I did not have my period until a month after I stopped nursing. And it was not regular at all, ever.

I had the IUD removed in October 2006, so as to have an internal ultrasound of my uterus to look at 2 growths....And have had to wait for some further testing before I can have it re-implanted.

Accidentally, I found this forum today...

Now, I am very interested in knowing if there is more information I can find about how this may have effected me for the last 3 years... And what my choices might be.

I am very eager to receive any information at all...
