I've been experimenting with sitz for months but I just don't have very good facilities to do it optimally right now...nor the time. I started adding cold showers 2 weeks ago and its made my muscles harder, trim, and more flexible. Even an old shoulder strain is healing. I've been doing 10 minutes hot as possible, then 10 minutes cold. The hotter you get the easier it is to stand the cold. I know its strange but it actually feels good. A slower transition works too but its paradoxically harder to get to the cold stage (Kinda like the "just jump in the pool" versus the "slow torture" method) ;-)
