Im sorry but I am a little confused with your message.
are you saying that you feel like you are not going to get much more improvement so you are dragging out the last of your improvements to "make it last" or keep you going? Like you dont know what you will do once you are totally 100%? Have you spent too much time and focus on it and will feel empty once your goal is complete?
Some people unconciously stay sick because it helps them avoid thinking about other feelings which would hurt too much, most of these feelings are unconcious. The body can keep one "sick" or stuck so to keep the mind occupied with the sickness and not the feelings.
