I believe dysbiosis (imbalance intestinal flora) is one of the factor that contribute acne. Maybe, also, nutritent deficient such as Vitamin A and D. I also would recommend you to try cod liver oil. A tablespoon a day to see how it goes.
I am current on diet based on Weston A. Price's discovery and study back in 1930's. High in animals fats and protein.
