Re: Acute numbness and weakness in legs and feet

Denny,

I don't know if any one has mention Marfans Syndrome
to you in the past. With your height and weight you might want to look into it. My Husband and two sons are 6'6" and 6'7" respectively and present numerouse symptoms. My husband was diagnosed after he suffered and lived through an Aortic disection. Complete and into his right leg. His aorta is now at 8cm and still growing. He's not a candidate for the surgery due to the positioning of the discetion. If you exhibit some of the following symptoms I would urge you seek professional advise from a vascular surgen whose speciality is Marfans.

1. very tall...arms usually longer when stretched outwards than you are tall.

2. Stretch marks

3. A bowing or convexing of the chest ...Pectus excavatum or pectus caritatum.

4. Problems with your eyes...caderac

5. Back pain that is sharp and directly between the shoulder blades.

6. Arched or pronounced palate of the mouth

7. Long spiderey fingers and toes.

8. Flat feet.

Hope this helps.
