Vitamin/mineral/hormone levels are not usually included in a CBC (complete blood count). Your physician must order these in addition to a CBC. Ask for a copy of your lab results. You'll know then whether the physician asked for a serum vitamin B-12 test, in addition to the CBC. The result for this will be on the paperwork if he/she asked for it.
