I went to two orthopedists (to rule out lupus) and they each said the hip-joint pain I had was bursitis; the knee-joint muscle pain was osteoarthritis; the numbness and tingling in my feet and hands was Reynaud's Syndrome; the between-shoulder pain was fibromyalgia; in addition to carpal-tunnel syndrome in my wrists. They couldn't explain the fluid cysts in my calf muscles that showed up on ultrasound. Ultimate diagnosis: fibromyalgia.
Funny though, once I started taking the B-12 shots, it *ALL* went away...
