All vegetables have a different balance of soluble and insoluble fiber. Try using more vegetables with a higher percentage of soluble fiber from the diet list first. Potatoes, carrots, turnips, beets, parsnips, yellow squash and mushrooms. Less of spinach, corn, onions, broccoli, cucumber, brown rice, asparagus and barley. Lastly, try a little apple sauce, banana , prune juice or buckwheat and honey. Give each new diet food sufficient time to experience its softening effect on your stool form.
