Re: Best Exercise even cures back pain

Bridging a couple times a week to start. It probably depends on the condition of your back. It took me a while to learn how often. There is some initial pain you have to get through. If your nerves are flared up you have to mix rest and Ibruprofen to get past it. I had 2 back surgeries with continued nerve pain. I'm sure I could have avoided the injury maybe the surgery, if I was bridging and not doing power cleans.

I was paying the chiropractor 20 bucks a week for 3 or 4 months, so I thought $35.00 was a deal if it cured my back pain. I know I sound like an advertisement, but he selling a lifetime of knowledge. What he writes made sense to me before I bought anything.

I want the Chinese Flexibility also. My friends and I have bought Combat Conditioning, Combat Abs, Gamma Fitness, Handstand Training, and some of the Lifeline products. The power wheel and chest expander rutines whoop you fast, just like the rest of his excercises. I want the Power Push Up 2 from Lifeline.

In my opinion, bridging increases strength and flexibility, without wearing your disks out. It's almost a static excercise. It seems to cause you muscles to support the spine better releaving pressure on the disks. When your back is flexible every vertebrae moves and carries the load, not just one or 2. The vertebrae that flex the most wear out their disks first. I believe repetitive motion wears things out. Particularly disks in between your vertebrae. Combat Conditioning with pull ups is all you ever need. Combat Abs is great too but it has lots of repetitive twisting bending.
