Ask your doctor to give you a blood test for H pylori. They draw a vial of blood and the test results come back in about a day or two.

I know what you are going through, I have the same issues that you do. I think this stuff is working well because I actually had someone familiar with my problem tell me in the morning that I stunk but after I took the pill and it kicked in, there was no smell at all, he even said I smelled like soap.

For some reason this med is not curing my morning Gerd mouth, extreme bad breath issues for at least most of the morning. Even though I am now required to take a Prevacid before bed. I even went as far as getting a softer mattress instead of the firm mattress I have had for the past 7 years. Didnt help at all.

I am starting to think that something is causing this morning Gerd to come up during the night. Is it how I sleep? Does putting my feet up on the desk all day cause GERD? I dont know. Someone suggested that I tilt the bed up by putting books under the bed posts so that my feet are lower than my head.

I'll finish this medicine but for some reason I think my habits are exasberating my problem.

At least I know one thing for the afternoons, I am more confident than before knowing that at least for part of the day I dont stink up a room.

I'll post more as I get my feedback. I still have to change the diet and start exercising. I am cheating with the coffee. Tweet
