the use of this term confused me as well. I have been wondering what is meant by the word "compact" ... perhaps he/you are referring to the nucleus of oneself? as in the more masks one wears, or perhaps one could say the more one lives in the world of maya, the more "attachments", as A puts it, one has which some might refer to "excess baggage". So the more one is into the kernel of oneself (which is closest to spirit) one is more "compact."
