Re: laughter is a good program

First of all, your assumption is that Adam needed those things, secondly, you sound like the majority of other people that class 'smart' into a category which has been drummed down by the media and schools, ie. people who look at the IQ score as being the one and only indicator. I don't care who it is, no one can measure intelligence or brain capacity. Sure, they can measure it according to subjects, like computer knowledge, gardening, etc. But I don't know how they got to slapping a high IQ on someone with a high 'general knowledge' and calling that person a genius, sorry, it doesn't cut it with me. In my books, you could be a genius and be living on the streets since you were born, and never have seen a school or an IQ test. My point to all this ranting is that no one is smarter then another, its just a society thing, which is another topic so I will stop now :) .

But it brings me to my next point, and this is what you overlooked in my previous post, how can you clasify wisdom/understanding? What percentage of the brain does that fill? Adam spent probably a good 100 years directly with God before he ate of the tree, how much knowledge/wisdom/understanding could God have filled him with in that amount of time? I would say heaps. Then to add onto that, the rest of his 800 years?

My point is, Adam didn't need the things we have of today to live a great life, and to live it fully. It was paradise, why would they have needed the things of today? How do you expect to live after the resurrection without your computer/tv/microwave/telephone?
Don't let the things of today cloud your mind with the wonders of man, there is nothing more wonderful than God.

Your next point about food and working harder for it. I wasn't talking about 'real' food as you call it, and you missed my point again. What I was saying is that regardless of the type of food we eat, we still don't have to work as hard for it. Sure if we grew our own crops, we would work hard for it (especially as you said, without pesticides, etc.), but what I was saying is that, who does it anymore? People don't grow crops as much as they did 150 years ago, why? because it is all given to us so we don't have to work for it. And I was specifically targeting our societies, Australia/America/UK. And I'm not saying what we eat is right according to our Creator, we stuff our stomachs with crap all the time, but the point is, we still do it, why? because it's easy to goto the shops and buy pre-packaged food for the whole week, that's why.

Humans were not designed to die, that was not part of the original plan (not that God didn't know about the fall of man, and the messiah, and all that is happening now). We were instructed to eat vegetation only because there was no death until Adam sinned, also because it is very good for us. Keep reading, and God will instruct people to now eat animals aswell.
