Re: are NDE's evil deceptions from Satan?-reply
Pslam 146 talks about where you should put your trust into. It basically says you shouldn't put your trust into a son of a man, because when he dies "...His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish...", but you should put your trust in the Lord who never perishes, who is forever more.
For the other verse:
"And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light."
Making people believe he is a good angel and actually performing the task of certain angels are two very different things, he is very good at decieving people, actually I would go on to say that he is a master at it, but to take over a job of another angel (ie. collecting souls from earth) is another thing, God would have had to give him this job as well as the others he has, I don't think that is mentioned anywhere in scripture. If he were a collecter of souls, God would have mentioned it somewhere.
We must remember that God is in control, he has planned this out from day 1, even Satan's jobs as an angel has been planned out and thought of, the fall of man and the birth of His beloved Son was all planned.
Satan does what he wants, but he is bound by what he can do..
