Just wondering if anyone has been successful in obtaining Long Term Disability benefits from their employer? My job required me walking all day and as I had been getting sicker and weaker for the past 2 years, had finally reached a point earlier this year where my doctor pulled me off work.

My sick leave ran out in Aug. and am fighting for my LTD benefits now. I know this is going to be a difficult battle because they have never really accepted the fact that I am sick!!

I know as I get closer to winning this nightmare with candida the chronic fatigue will lessen, but until then I'm screwed. Talked to my lawyer yesterday and he didn't exactly sound too encouraging because my employer told him my doctor is a quack because there is no such thing as candida.

Anyway, if anyone has been successful, would you please let me know or if you have any advice or pointers on what I could do to improve my chances I'd appreciate your responses.
