Ok, to reiterate, I believe the Gilbert Syndrome is responsible for all your symptoms, but could have lead to a parasitic infection by way of opportunity.

The reason I have suggested nicotine, is; provides a biologically active precursor to other systems which might help with your enzyme deficiency.

There could be a possible benefit. Although, your doctor may have other medications to counteract this medical problem.
