Before bed, apply just one layer, maybe two if you want then leave it alone for at least 5 days. If you see deep lines developed then you are cured. You then gently remove the barrier from your lips. Your lips will then turn "raw" again, except they're not really raw but have a permanent new thin layer on that's flexible and won't die and peel. You then leave your lips alone and wait for it to heal by itself.

Try not to stretch too wide when having the product on.
