I think the important thing to remember with this method is that you need to apply several coats per day or not just one coat. Is that right? How many coats did you apply each day? And how do you remove it (if you removed it to reapply new coats after buildup from several coats)?

You may need to keep applying this after your lips heal since environmental elements or pathogens getting into your cracked lips may be the cause of peeling.
