Re: Calcium is an Antagonist to Cadmium

Excellent find. Thank you. Iron and zinc are two other minerals that help get out cadmium....yes. Calcium being the one needed in the greatest amount.

Some people supplement with HCL or enzymes. Or if HCL hurts a person's stomach they can use a little lemon juice or apple cider vinegar in their water, with a meal to help digest better. They just need more acid for that purpose. It takes different acids to react with different alkaline minerals. That is why we need a large range of fresh foods to make sure we get all the different minerals that we need.

If a person eats mostly out of a box and not hardly any fresh foods, they will need to take enzymes as well until they start breaking down their food well enough. A whole food enzyme to take in case a person's digestion is a little too sensitive to eat much fresh foods is Multizyme by Standard Process. My chiropractor told me about this one.

Again awesome find. :)
