Re: alignment - cramps

DL,

What I mean about cramps and other symptoms is that they are part of correcting a condition that is not normal for our individual body. My cramps were mostly in my thighs in three of my fasts, and severe, but they went away in two to three days, it felt like something was straightened out.

Our bodies have innate ability to adjust by process of homeostasis, which refers to the body's balancing, centering, and stabilizing mechanisms. Homeostatic mechanisms are what enable your body to adjust to the relentless changes in your external and internal environments. It is easier for your body to maintain homeostasis when you are resting and fasting than when you are eating and engaging in activity. The conservation of energy during such a profound period of rest creates a favorable condition for the biological process of healing. The human body is programmed to always seek normality, and a properly conducted fast supports and encourages that process.

We all come to this world with our blueprint formed at the moment of conception. This blueprint is with us as we go through life, always working to bring our bodies back into an alignment of health. But the connection between this blueprint and our bodies can become weakened over time because of injury, infections, bad food choices, environmental toxicity, thought toxicity, etc. These assaults on our body cause a major disruption in our bioelectrical flows, such as meridians, chakras, auras, etc. It is my belief that a big part of the "miracle of fasting" stems from its ability to reconnect some of these stressed energy pathways.
I tend to think that when we fast, we reconnect to this blueprint in a more meaningful way. The degree we can do this then significantly affects the degree to which we can shift our state of health.

Going further in detail, when we have any type of inflammation in our body, it is designed to first protect our body, but in turn it damages other tissues while helping one part of the body. We are left with scar tissues and other junk in that part of the body, misalignments can happen, which without a stresses and perfect diet cannot be cleaned out. In this current world which we live in is highly impossible. Fasting on the other affords our body to bring those misalignments in balance by removing all unwanted junk that is caused by inflammation. This includes major issues like misaligned spine, knees, toes, fingers, etc.

I remember seeing a very old book by a doctor who made all his patients fast with water only and had before and after X’rays of spines showing alignment after a long fast. I am searching for this book, but cannot find it. It was very old, obviously.
Also Dr. McFadden has many exercises in his book for proper posture and spine alignment. I think I have that book, go to find it. I must say I am not so fond of his writing.

Happy Fasting.
